Originally I wanted this to host artwork, and I know I could use DA for that as well, but something about that website is…sort of evil to me. Maybe it’s because when it started out, there were a lot more features that were accessible to me. Now it seems with two account changes later (long story.), those features I once had are now gone for free users and have reverted to only being a paid option.
After recent issues with comments that sort of pushed me over the edge (by the way, critiques are one thing, snarky comments are another.), I’ve decided that I’ll only post certain things over there, and most of my work here. I also want to sell prints here, as soon as I learn how to set that up.
Recently I’ve also started carrying a small sketchbook with me, and I’m working on getting them scanned. I also plan to post photos, or works in progress, etc.
For now, please accept this proud accomplishment of mine:

I finally painted my room. Rather, I finally painted the one wall of my room. The inspiration for this actually came from a photo I saw online of a nursery, but hey, why argue with good design? I'm in love with the color. It's what inspired this drawing of Frank Iero of My Chemical Romance:

The room had the same blue-green paint (Valspar's "Simply Seafoam" at Lowe's) and accents of yellow (leaning slightly orange). The color combo was so appealing and it's been in my head ever since. Thus how Frank came about, and how I finally painted my damn room.
Oh, and ironically, the poster hanging is of Frank, in Black Parade attire, and signed. So it all came full circle.
