My biggest concerns? Driving around San Diego, as I firmly believe that the San Diego freeways, streets, roads and what have you are made by sadists.
No, really. When you come up with roadways, it’s not a good idea to label them the same thing. For instance, Harbor Street, Harbor Road and Harbor Boulevard are just not acceptable. Especially not so close to each other. Also, everything always seems to be an on ramp, but never a damn off ramp. It should be obvious that I just do not have a pleasant time when I drive around San Diego. The town? Very nice. The weather, just lovely. But the streets? Just…go away.
This time, I have parking, which is nice. And I know my way around enough to not get lost, but it doesn’t make it any more pleasant to drive.
Am looking forward to buying needless amounts of comics, games, shirts and other souvenirs, as well as hitting up a Sephora for maximum eyeliner purchase. (Just like drawing! ON MY EYES!)
